Guitarist and Jardis Records recording artist Steve Rochinski has been at regular at Ryle¹s Jazz Brunch series since September ,2003 with his regular trio featuring Daniel Ian Smith on woodwinds and Barry Smith on bass. He has worked with the Candoli Brothers,Tal Farlow, Attila Zoller, Jimmy Raney,Tim Hagans, Pat Harbison, Gary Foster, Hank Marr, Brad Goode, Scott Lee, Joe Hunt, Chuck Redd, Richard Evans,Tony Tillman, as well as numerous studio, concert, club date and international clinic appearances. Steve has received numerous grants and awards including a 1993 Jazz Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts for private study with Tal Farlow. Upon leaving the road life in 1984, he became Professor at the world-renowned Berklee College of Music. In 1995, Steve released his critically acclaimed debut CD ³Until Further Notice`² (LineOut Music/Northcountry Dist.) He currently records for Jardis Records, Germany¹s leading jazz guitar label. His releases include ³A Bird In The Hand²(JRCD9922) and ³Otherwise² (JRCD20033). (www.jardis.de).
