"The World Leaders" return to RYLES, the site of their widely acclaimed CD Mucho Gusto! Live with the World Leaders." This eight-piece group features festive and beautiful music from around the globe. One reviewer heralded the groups performance in Cape Town, South Africa as the highlight of the festival.

The Boston Higashi jazz group and will open the evenings festivities at 7 PM and Milton Academy jazz groups will follow with tunes featuring their graduating seniors.

Soul System, featuring April Hall and Joe Bargar,exemplify the best in classic and modern R&b. April has worked on projects for Atlantic Records with Bette Midler and Melissa Manchester, and has appeared in concert with Rosemary Clooney, Al Jarreau, Frankie Avalon, and Livingston Taylor. In addition to singing with Soul System, April is an accomplished jazz vocalist who has recorded three critically acclaimed CD's and performs with her quartet throughout the US.

Joe Bargar is a veteran of the New England music scene, having grown up in Providence, RI. Joe has performed with such notable artists as Sly & The Family Stone, Robbie Robertson, blues greats Otis Rush, Mississippi Fred McDowell, Son Seals, and John Lee Hooker; and soul masters Percy Sledge, Clarence Carter, and Solomon Burke.

Joe can be heard on several recordings, including those by Diana Ross and "Late Show" bandleader Paul Shaeffer.

Mark Shilansky's new project "Fugue Mill" combines his unique jazz sensibility with music inspired by Americana, Celtic, and Classical genres. Members of the group combine their wide-ranging experience playing with such artists as Luciana Souza, Esperanza Spalding, and Darol Anger into a musical melange that explores diverse idioms, linked through improvisation and groove, and features original long form compositions, as well as music by Thelonious Monk, Elvis Costello, and Leonard Cohen.

Mingo has reached out to a superb group of international musicians to make his musical dream a reality: Rebecca Kleinmann (flute), John Stein (guitar), Evan Harlan (accordion), John Lockwood (acoustic bass), Matias Mingote German (drums).
